This project includes the construction of the new refrigeration warehouse for Lotaçor, located in Ponta Delgada and intended for the freezing, treatment and storage of fish, especially tuna.

This new unit consists of 3 fish brine freezing tanks with a capacity of 30-36 tons/day each, two static freezing tunnels with a 20-24 tons/day freezing capacity, four conservation chambers for frozen products with a total 1.295 ton capacity, a 50 ton conservation chamber for fresh products, a daily 10 ton ice production and a 20 ton ice storage capacity in an “Orbital” type automatic silo.
