H Seabra fulfils its obligations as a EEE Producer

The production growth of Electrical and Electronic Equipment Waste (EEE) and the high amount of hazardous components existent in some equipment has led to the establishment of obligations, applied to the companies considered to be EEE Producers.

H. Seabra has that status, since it resells, under its own brand, EEE produced by other suppliers and imports or places in the national market EEE with a professional basis. Therefore has also to comply with the legislation in this area, fulfilling its obligations in this subject.

This was another important decision which shows the Group’s commitment to the improvement of environmental and economic conditions, through reuse, recycling and energetic waste recovery.
