New project of Lusiaves Group entrusted to H.Seabra

H. Seabra has been chosen by Avisabor – a company belonging to the Lusiaves Group – to construct its new poultry slaughterhouse located in Pardilhó – Estarreja.

This project includes the construction of a new rapid cooling tunnel with a capacity of 12.000 birds/h (21.600 Kg/h), as well as remodeling the existent slaughterhouse. This tunnel has two cooling stages, being totally automatic and with a hot gas defrost system, significantly minimizing the energetic cost compared to traditional solutions.

The technical solution developed by H. Seabra, based upon the option using natural gas and through the use of intelligent defrost systems, makes it a reference in an environmental and energetic point of view.

Along with the cooling tunnel, H. Seabra is also responsible for the remodeling of the workstations, refrigeration chambers, corridors and docks all part of the existing slaughterhouse.
